GOSH Matt Lipsticks

Ever since I was pregnant with Archie, my lips have been so dry! I have always been obsessed with either lip stains or long lasting lipsticks and it is something I have struggled to stop using. I do not like normal lipsticks at all, from getting them on my teeth and the transfer when I eat (I am always eating something!) I just do not enjoy wearing them. So it was either stick to my usual lip products which my lips hate or wear nothing at all which I can’t do.

While shopping in Superdrug last month and was talking to a store assistant about my troubles with finding products that work for me. She pointed out she had the same issue and was wearing a GOSH lipstick that works well. SOLD.

Now although these lipsticks appear similar in colour at first glance, they swatch different shades. One much lighter than the other. Matt Angel – The lighter of the shades despite the sticker looking the darker of the two. These are silky smooth to apply on the lips and are true to their word a ‘Velvet touch lipstick’.

Here I am wearing Matt Rose (My favourite). At no point do I feel like my lips are drying out, they remain hydrated for the duration of me wearing it. The staying power is great, little transfer and I have not had any issues with ‘lipstick teeth’! I apply a little lip balm (just in case), top up slightly in the centre of my lips a couple of times in the day, and so far I am really happy with how these work for me.

The colour difference is slightly more obvious here. Matt angel on the left and Matt Rose on the right. At only £7.99 each, these are good value for money and feel much more luxurious to wear. I love the packaging, which itself feels velvety and looks high end.

I can’t recommend these lipsticks enough, the colours are beautiful and they make my lips feel great. I am still on the look out for other lip products that work for me, if you have any you love please let me know, I would love to know your recommendations! xx
